it's already been a year

It's crazy to think that a year has already gone by.  This past weekend was Tavake Yaichi Bourbeau's first birthday.  Suko, family, and friends all came to Southern California for this celebration.  It was an awesome reunion and we had a crazy good time hanging out, prepping for the party, and admiring the little birthday boy.  Watch this video blog and check out all the fun!

Vake is already 6 months old!!  He's huge!  I was so happy to take a four-day weekend vacation and spend my time in Prescott, AZ.  We all enjoyed eating great food, playing settlers of catan & rummy, and hanging out with the baby.  I even got to babysit him by myself!  Here's a video blog of the weekend...hope you enjoy!

Me, along with friends, took a road trip to Prescott, AZ to visit Suko, Brandon, and Vake-boy.  This video blog is mostly footage of the 5 month old.  But it's okay, it's impossible not to like this baby.

Jess Hirano, a dear friend of mine, turned 21 this past weekend.  She's graduating next week (completed undergraduate in 3.5 years).  AND...its the Christmas season.  How do we celebrate all these great things?  Disneyland California Adventure Park...or the D-CAP.  Here is a video blog that shows all of our fun moments.

I spent this long thanksgiving weekend up in Santa Rosa.  It was great to hang out with Suko, Brandon, Ema, Aunty Leona, and Vake-boy.  I'm very thankful for all of them.  Hope you enjoy watching this video blog!  And lets keep Suko, Brandon, and Vake in our prayers as they embark on a crazy journey to Arizona!

I am so incredibly happy for Suko and Brandon and their amazing new son, Tavake Yaichi Bourbeau (aka vake-boy).  Ever since he was born, Kat and I have been so anxious to finally meet him.  We finally got that chance, taking a long 4-day weekend vacation to Santa Rosa.  Along with finally meeting vake-boy, this long awaited reunion included great moments of laughter, catch up, skyping, and delicious food.  I'm glad I got to record most of these moments.  Enjoy the video blog!
